SLJ WWF World Wildlife Fund activity 3 Day 3 Week 1

The name of the animal that the WWF is working to save is the Saimaa Ringed Seals.
The WWF is building snowbanks so if the mummy seals give birth to a pup the mummy can give birth to the pup in a safe place so the pup doesn't get eaten by its predators or gets bugged by humans.
The success of protecting the animals could be amazing if the seals are born in the snowbanks.

  1. Kia Ora Peyton!

Congratulations for completing yet another SLJ activity— thanks for giving me the full name of the endangered animal that the WWF are working to save.
I'm so pleased that you've given us a great explanation as to how the WWF is working to save the Saimaa Ringed Seals— do you know who their predators are?
I hope that the seals are raised safely within these snowbanks!

Keep up the great work, Taya.

    Cheers

  2. Hi Jordan,
no I do not know who their predators are.
Sorry about the random question but are the seniors having their own SLJ comp and the same for the middle school.
If not that is alright just a bit hard when I go to alot of places on the holidays.

    1. Kia Ora Taya,

So sorry for calling you Peyton! I must have been a bit confused that day.
To answer your question, no the seniors do not have a separate competition to the middle school. But I'm pleased to let you know that you're the most active student in the middle school and you're doing a marvellous job, too.

Keep up the great stuff, Taya!

      Cheers,

      Jordan
