SLJ Flying Fungi Activity 3 Day 2 Week 3

The way I think that I worked it out was I did 5+5=10 that is two different moulds gone so lets double that. That means four of the moulds gone three more so right now we have 20 Days and  so we will do one more 5+5=10 so we have six moulds gone. Put in another 5 days a there you have it the answer is 35 Days.

  1. Kia Ora Taya,

Well done for completing this Summer Learning Journey activity 'Flying Fungi' and for showing us how you worked out this maths solving problem. I see that you've taken a different approach to presenting your maths solving skills, so well done for being malleable.
You're absolutely right, it would take 5 days for each mould to be removed. Another way that this can be worked out is with the use of multiplication. So 5 (days to remove mould) x 7 (types of mould) = 35 days. How many weeks would this be?

I look forward to your response. And on that note, don't forget that thoughtful responses that have at least 3 sentences and engage with the topic receive 2 bonus points for each one :)

    Thanks,

    Jordan
