SLJ Weird and Wonderful activity 3 Week 1 Day 2

This is the maths problem I have to work out for the bonus activity worth 10 points.
Let’s imagine that you are given a cactus for your birthday. To keep it alive, you must give it 3 ml of water every day.
Over one full year, how much water will you need to give your cactus plant?
3 ml x 365 days = 1095 ml
So I will have to use 1095 ml of water to water my plant.

Sorry if I got it wrong I am not that good at working out how to explain the equation right.

  1. Kia Ora Taya,

Well done for completing another SLJ activity— you're on a roll! There's absolutely no need to apologise Taya, we all have our own ways of working things out and explaining things.
You've got the equation right, so your cacti will definitely survive :)
Thanks for showing us how you worked this equation out— do you think you could add an image of the cacti to your post, to give it more flair? Don't forget to give credit to your image!

I look forward to reading more of your awesome work!

    Cheers

    Jordan
